The seminar is organized by Wadina Organization for Human Development between Egypt and Sudan.
Advisor Maged el-Sherbeni, the Head of Board Council of the organization said that the seminar, which is attended by more than 100 political and partisan figures, will be a debate between the representatives of the parties and thinkers on the principle of citizenship, various views of the political trends towards it and how can the constitutional amendments contribute to enhancing citizenship rights to be general behaviour.
The National Democratic Party (NDP) Secretary of Media, Dr. Alieddeen Helal will direct a session before the debate.
Maged el-Sherbeni asserted that the citizenship issue is chosen to be discussed in the seminar because it is important to all trends and various categories of the society. He added that the aim of the debate isn't exchanging accusations. The debate aims at reaching joint vision among parties and political trends on the citizenship rights objectively and how to convert it from being a constitutional issue to be a societal behaviour.
