Workers' committee to study proposed amendments
Fathi Nema, the secretary of social insurances, fees and work relations in Egypt's Workers Union, announced that a technical committee of the union leaderships began to study the proposed constitutional amendments to prepare its vision in this regard.
The committee began to receive the proposals for 60 days, he added.
The representatives of the workers' leaderships confirmed in the symposium of the constitutional amendments held at the Workers University in Cairo the rejection of establishing faith-based parties.
Director of the Workers University Dr. Mostafa el-Sayyed said the ball is now in the court of the political parties to participate effectively in making Egypt's future.
