Millions of Egyptians headed for the ballot
boxes early Monday26/3/2007 to cast their votes in the referendum on constitutional amendments that cover 34 articles.
The voting, which started at 08:00 hours (local time), will last till 19:00 hours. Counting of the votes will start directly after the ballots are closed.
A total of 35,384,000 people are eligible for the voting which will take place in 334 general commissions and 34,392 sub-commissions under judicial supervision by judges and the public prosecution.
