Speaker of the Shura Council Safwat el-Sherif on March 02, 2007 sent all received opinions about the constitutional amendments to Speaker of the People's Assembly Dr. Fathi Sorour to be reviewed by the constitution drafting committee.

For his part, Minister of Legal Affairs and Parliamentary Councils Mufid Shehab said that the People's Assembly will review the final formula of these amendments before the end of March and a referendum on these amendments will be held mid-April.
