Within the framework of quiet dialogue, a series of symposiums and conferences are held nowadays to discuss the amendment of 34 articles of the Constitution.
It is expected to coin all the articles by March 18 after presenting the proposed formulas to the Shura Council. All the discussions in the People's Assembly, the Shura Council, the parties, the syndicates and the civil society institutions confirmed the importance of boosting the role of the parliament in monitoring the government and withdrawing the confidence plus giving it a greater role in the state the budget.

This is plus promoting the role of the cabinet and setting out regulations on the exercise of the President of the Republic of his competencies.
The discussions also focused on adopting the best electoral system to increase the opportunities of the parties' representation in the parliament and upgrading the municipal system, adopting new anti-terror law and boosting the Judiciary independence. This is besides banning the establishment of faith-based parties and confirming that the State is based on the principle of citizenship which confirms full equality among all Egyptians.

No doubt, the debate over the proposed constitutional amendments brought about a state of political dynamics in the Egyptian community to help realize the aspirations of the citizens, activate the partisan life and enrich pluralism.
