Al-Sherif :The State confronts whoever attempts to destabilize Egypt's security
Secretary-General of the Ruling National Democratic party (NDP) Safwat El Sherif said that the State will not hesitate to confront whoever attempts to shake the country's security and stability, and a revision of finance of the suspicious non- governmental organizations will be conducted through the Central Auditing Agency that monitors their accounts.
Egypt's amended constitution is dominating the National Democratic Party (NDP) talks nowadays in an attempt to make clear the philosophy behind such development.
The balance and integration sought between the first and the 45th articles in the constitutional amendments proposed by President Hosni Mubarak actually aims at entrenching democracy and citizenship, says NDP Secretary General Safwat El-Sherif.
Addressing the Workers' Secretariat Tuesday, Sherif assured Egyptian workers that Mubarak remained committed to protecting their rights and to achieving social justice. He said the amended constitution would take care of the workers under any economic system set by the government.
He told Egyptian Workers that President Hosni Mubarak was also committed to the judicial supervision of elections, stressing that the job of judges would not be just to manage the process.
The amended constitution entails a true supervision of the polls, Sherif noted. He was clear that an already applied free education and Islamic jurisdiction would remain untouched in order to preserve social stability and avoid any economic crises or sectarian turmoils.
